  • Alarm Upgrades (BETA)

    • The revamped alarm service is a key part of our device health initiative, designed to provide users with increased visibility into device issues through alarms. This service offers guidance to help minimize the impact of these issues, enabling users to quickly identify and resolve them. Users will receive clear and timely notifications through their preferred channels and have access to step-by-step resolution guides to maintain optimal device performance.

  • In-Cabin Lens Recording Alarm (BETA)

    • Fleet managers currently lack real-time insight into in-cabin camera recording status. This can result in undetected outages, compliance risks, and delayed intervention. The In-Cabin Lens Recording Alarm proactively monitors recording status, working to increase compliance and reduce the risk of data loss. This system provides timely alerts and resolution guidance, enabling swift action that can reduce risk and improve recording reliability. For example, if these settings are enabled and there is no recording, then an alarm is created. This is also checked every 5 minutes to prevent recording gaps.

  • Actionable Alarm Insights (BETA)

    • The enhanced Alarm UI in the Partner Portal provides partners with clear, actionable insights into device alarms. This redesigned interface offers a comprehensive view of critical events, including device details, organizational context, alarm type, and status. Sortable and searchable columns, along with key information like creation date and occurrence details, enable efficient identification and prioritization of issues. Integrated actions for closing alarms with comments and managing communication speed up the resolution time. By providing quick visibility and streamlined workflows, this upgrade empowers partners to proactively manage device health and deliver enhanced support.

  • Road Facing Lens Recording Failure Detection and Alerting (BETA)

    • The absence of automated monitoring for road-facing camera recording can result

in undetected data loss, delayed issue resolution, and the need for manual status verification. To mitigate these risks, a system for real-time detection of recording failures is being implemented. This system will continuously monitor the road-facing camera's recording status, identifying failures within 5 minutes. Upon detection, it will log the duration of the interruption and automatically generate alerts via the alarm-v2 service, including clear troubleshooting steps. Furthermore, the system will verify the restoration of recording once the issue is resolved, ensuring continuous data capture and minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Auxiliary Camera Billing Enable/Disable Dialog Box

    • This interface enables partners to bill users for these devices. You can find dedicated Dialog Boxes for bulk updates on the Organizations page, as well as for single-device management on the Devices page. For individual devices running Ability FW 0.33.0 or later, a convenient 'Update AUX billing' option is now available. This can be found in the three-dot menu on the right, positioned before 'Access org’. This opens a dialog box with enable and disable buttons allowing you to quickly manage AUX camera billing as needed.

  • Partner Validation for Organization Assignment

    • By introducing mandatory partner validation during device onboarding, this update provides clear device ownership and access control. This enhancement prevents devices from being added to organizations without a partner assignment and confirms that fleet managers can only add devices belonging to a partner or sub-partner to their organizations, thereby enhancing data integrity.

  • Privacy Mode Management: UI Bulk Toggle Implementation (BETA)

    • A confirmation dialog precedes the application of changes. Settings are applied immediately after saving for online devices and upon connection for offline devices.
