Sub-partner users can now access the Dashboard page in the Surfsight Cloud Partner Portal. The Dashboard tab appears in the partner portal navigation menu after sign-in and provides an immediate view of account health.

Sub-Partner users can now:

  • View the Dashboard directly from the portal navigation menu.

  • Monitor account health from a single view, including device totals, activation status, billing status, growth trends, and organization summaries.

  • Navigate to the Dashboard directly by using the URL, without redirection.

  • Land on the Dashboard immediately after sign-in for a quick overview.

Scope:

  • Applies to all sub-partner accounts in the Surfsight Cloud partner portal.

  • Web application only. No changes to device hardware, firmware, or mobile apps.

Note: The dashboard experience for partner-level users remains unchanged.

Fixes

Retrieving the encryption key history hides the device list on the ״Devices״ page

This release fixes an issue where the device list on the Devices page disappeared after retrieving encryption key history for a device.

For organizations with Remote Encryption & Decryption enabled, selecting Encryption Keys from the device menu and entering a password caused the device list to be cleared unexpectedly.

With this update:

  • Users can retrieve encryption key history without affecting the device list.

  • The device list remains visible and fully functional after viewing encryption keys.

Org-level device fetch for AI-14 detection is not scalable for large fleets

This release improves how the system determines whether an organization has AI-14 devices. Previously, the platform retrieved the full list of devices in an organization to make this determination, which could cause slow load times, high memory usage, or timeouts for customers with large fleets.

With this update:

  • The device-type detection logic no longer requires retrieving all devices in the organization.

  • Users with large fleets experience faster and more reliable page loads when accessing features that depend on AI‑14 device detection.

Recordings date picker not working correctly

This release resolves an issue in the portal where the Recordings date picker highlighted two dates instead of one when a user selected a single date, causing confusion.

With this update:

  • The date picker highlights only the selected date across all time zones.

  • Time zone handling in the calendar component is corrected to ensure consistent date selection behavior, regardless of the user’s location.

AI-14 – Modem version information is not available for devices upon activation

This Release resolves an issue where the modem firmware version for AI-14 devices was not reported upon activation, leaving it unknown for up to 24 hours or longer. This prevented remote wake-up and delayed critical post-activation workflows such as firmware downgrades.

With this update:

A cloud-side update to the device state machine now identifies and reports the modem firmware version as soon as the device comes online, along with the application software version. This change removes the delay associated with waiting for the next reporting cycle and enables immediate post-activation operations.

AI-14 – Devices do not report online status upon activation

This Release resolves an issue where the Newly installed AI-14 cameras experienced delayed over‑the‑air (OTA) software updates. The system could not reliably confirm whether the device was online, which delayed update initiation. This impacted partners who depend on timely device provisioning and update completion.

With this update:

Updated the device activation flow to correctly initialize the online status at activation. Devices now report their online status immediately, allowing auto‑update processes to start without delay.
